Culturally Connected Communications (C3), Little Rock’s minority-owned diversity marketing, communications and public relations firm, has officially launched its apprenticeship program with the hiring of Kiyah Jasper. Kiyah will serve as the firm’s Marketing and Public Relations Apprentice and receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Starting this fall, Miss Jasper will attend the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff as a freshman where she will pursue her undergraduate degree in Business Marketing. One day she hopes to use the knowledge and experience she acquires at C3 to start her own company. Kiyah was born and raised in Arkansas and is a graduate of North Little Rock High School. A testament to her work ethic and dedication to her studies, she is the proud recipient of a $500 book scholarship to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff from the Alpha Kappa Alpha Corporation. Miss Jasper also finds time to give back to the community through volunteer work as a volleyball instructor to young girls at Boone Park and Indian Hills elementary schools.

The perfect program for young men and women who, like Kiyah, are eager to learn and jumpstart their professional careers with real-world experience, the C3 Apprenticeship Program is designed to give high school seniors knowledge, experience, and guidance as they embark on their career path in PR/marketing. Students can apply during the fall semester and one senior will be selected from the pool of applicants in December. The chosen applicant will begin their apprenticeship in the spring semester of their senior year in high school. During their last semester of high school, apprentices will work at the firm 10 – 12 hours per week and the summer before their freshman year of college they will work full-time until the first day of school commences. During their freshman year, apprentices will work in a part-time capacity for C3 and receive a $500 scholarship per semester.
